Our goal is to teach the RP to sit as a default behaviour for anything puppy wants. Sit = "Please may I..." The sit default behaviour will become generalised and the RP will use it whenever (s) he is asking for something and even when feeling unsure or insecure... Teaching the sit, helps the puppy learn emotional self-control and impulse control, learn that humans are fun and worth listening to and to look up to humans for care guidance and security. The RP will learn to sit when meeting visitors, when getting fed, when going through doors...
